Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District Study Analysis of the Butternut Creek and its Tributaries

We Crunched the Numbers and Did the Analysis. Now we Want to Share the Conclusions!

Please Join BVA and SWCD for the Culmination of the 2 year effort to survey and assess the health of the Butternut Creek and it's tributaries. This study represents a first of its kind in our region, has created a baseline understanding of the Butternutcreek Watershed, and is informing fact based decision making, conservation, and environmental remediation already.

Jordan Clements, District Manager of Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), will present an analysis of the the data collected over the course of the Butternut Creek Study and lay out how the study has informed and directed the SWCD in it's next steps within the Butternut Creek Watershed and around the County.
