Environment

Some of this committee’s activities include:

  1. DEC volunteer stewardship of the Texas Schoolhouse State Forest

  2. DEC volunteer stewardship of the General Jacob Morris State Forest

  3. Two Creeks Trail (with Morris Central School, Upper Susquehanna Coalition)

  4. Riparian planting of Butternut Creek (with USC)

  5. Butternut Creek water quality testing

  6. Butternut Creek Watershed Management Plan

  7. Otsego Octet (with OCCA)

  8. Earth Fest on May 9 at SUNY Oneonta (with OCCA)

  9. Earth Day clean-up on April 18 (with Morris Rotary)

  10. Butternut Creek Fun Float in September (with OCCA)
