On the Trail of Art

Reception: Friday, June 12, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dunderberg Gallery in Gilbertsville

Show: Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at General Jacob Morris State Forest

BVA’s annual gallery in the forest weekend-long art show features work by more than 150 Butternut Valley artists, including student artists from Morris Central School, Gilbertsville Mt-Upon, Laurens Central School, and Edmeston Central School, whose work is hung alongside Butternut Valley professional artists.

Be a part of one of BVA’s signature events celebrating the arts in the Valley!

Visual and performing artists with a connection to the Butternut Valley are invited to be a part of this singular exhibition. This year, the event will be held at the General Jacob Morris State Forest.

FAQ

  • All art must be weatherproof. 

  • Overnight security will be provided on Friday and Saturday.  

  • Artists must install their work on Friday, June 12, from noon to 5 p.m. and uninstall on Sunday, June 14, before 6 p.m. (reach out to us if you need assistance)

  • We will reach out to performers about scheduling.

  • We will reach out with more info about the trail, parking, and the Friday evening reception as information becomes available.
